Cap'n Bob uses a Key West center console 22.5 foot boat that has the versatility to weave you through the backcountry scouting out redfish, flounder, and trout, or will chum up giant tarpon on the beach for the fight of a lifetime! Other species in season include bluefish, spanish mackerel, king mackerel, cobia and many others. For the light tackle enthusiast, this is the way to go!

Bob holds a United States Coast Guard license. He has over 15 years of experience fishing on the waters around Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Captain Bob offers inshore fishing charters and local water tours, from a few hours tofull-day trips for one to six people.

Cap'n Bob served 28 years in the US Army before moving to the Low Country to establish a Boys and Girls Club in Beaufort and Hilton Head Island. Presently, Cap'n Bob resides in Sun City Hilton Head, a Del Webb retirement community, where he conducts his fishing charter business as a hobby.

About the Boat - Miz Joy II

Powered by a 225HP 4-stroke Susuki engine

24 volt remote controlled Minn Kota troll motor to navigate on the flats near the May River, Colleton River and shores of Hilton Head Island

Equipped with a shallow water anchor (power pole) to stay in position once the "reds" have been spotted.

 

Things to Remember:
  • Bring your own food and beverages if you like.
  • Please only wear boat shoes or tennis shoes without black soles.
  • A porta potty is on board at all times
  • Bring sun block and polarized sunglasses.
  • Boat is equipped with all required USCG safety equipment.
  • Catch and release fishing is strongly encouraged!
